Northeast Fair 2012
by kristen brooks
There are a lot of things that I LOVE about living here in NEPA, and the bazaars, festivals, and picnics are absolutely in my Top 10! And, now is the time of year around when the smell of fried food fills the air, and the kids get excited for all the fun and games!
This week, the Northeast Fair opens just as it did back in 1967…thanks to the Pittston Twp. Volunteer Fire Department. This family friendly event; it has a tremendous amount of family fun for everyone. The fair runs tomorrow June 19th through Sunday, June 24th in Pittston Twp. and will offer rides, live music, motorsports competitions, exhibits, vendors, contests, and of course lots of delicious food!
Oh..and did I mention Shawn Klush will be performing on Sunday; he really is the closest thing to seeing The King!
